Stationed in Afghanistan, Commander Claus M. Pedersen and his men are caught in heavy crossfire during a routine mission. Meanwhile, back in Denmark, Claus' wife Maria is trying to hold it together for their three children, who miss their dad.
In an effort to save his men, Claus makes a decision that has grave consequences for him - and his family back home.
